my peugeot 206 was running ok and then it just died on me when i was drivei?

could be heater relay switch needs replacing,try uncoupling the fan connector from the fan and try running your car without the fan,you dont need the fan this time of year anyway only in hot weather,or unless you have an engine overheating problem then you will need the fan.only other way fan runs on after switching off or engine carrys on running when switched off is usually engine timing is out.
