Zanussi ZWF1427W ends wash cycle after 3 mins then drains ?
Hi - Zanussi ZWF1427W ends wash cycle after 3 mins then drains. This happens on EVERY possible wash cycle.The spin works perfectly on its 10 min cycle and there is no unusual vibration or electrical smell.All the seals appear fine and the fluff filter is clear. The machine is 3 1/2 yrs old. At the end of all programmes - the beeper sounds as normal. The unit started doing this about 2 weeks ago and showed ' ERR ' on digital display - but when start pressed again - the programmed wash cycle would continue as normal. However - this 'ERR' sign not seen recently and as said - every cycle ends after 3mins - drains and ends cycle
how have you checked the insulation on the heater?.you need to put 500v across it to earth with an insulation tester to get good results/readings.drop all the wires from the heater.leave the temperature sensor in the element connected and start a wash cycle and see what happens

have checked heater insulation - appears ok. Have disconnected both the hot and the cold water inlet sensors too - same fault

check the heater insulation or disconnect heater wiring totally and retry
