how can i test my starter on gilera 50cc?

how can i test my starter on 50cc gilera and one minute it run then the next it wont start

Gilera Gilera 50cc Vehicles, Motorcycles Starter Gilera Start

you need to find out if its the starter motor thats the problem or the starter relay,next time it fails to start listen to see if you can hear a single click when you press the start button.
