Mend Land Rover P38 Alarm Lock Ignition

2001 rangerover p38 alarm lock out? ?

My dash display says "alarm triggered" then "Ignition tampered". Electronic fob key still unlocks door and both car and key battery OK, but when turning key in ignition the engine turns over but is immobilised, ie no ignition. Have tried entering key code via drivers door, also to no avail. Help

Have you tried disconnecting the battery then reconnecting it ?. Suggest you unplug the alarm or stuff a rag up it first though. Good luck, I spent many unhappy hours trying to get my one to work. Eventually I gave up locking it to avoid the immobiliser problems.
