Mend Indesit WE16 Washing Machine Filter Motor

problem with Indesit Evolution 1600 WE16 washing machine?

machine stopped in middle of cycle; F- 12 appears.
i have cleaned the filter, took the brushes from the motor and cleaned them; still wont go.

how can i check if the motor and pump are working?
