my washing machine is just over a year old . yesterday it refused to drain the water out and displayed er09. i read the manual and turned it off and then reselected the programme. the same error message was displayed.unpluged the machine overnight and tried again. i even cleaned out the filter again. the belt is in place, but the motor does not seem to be turning. the drum moves freely.
i actually ended up waiting on the hoover serviceman calling out and he replaced the computer module and the belt. The fuse had blown in the unit, but there was no way off knowing what had caused it to blow. It cost me £86.00 for the repair. i hope this helps someone.
