samsung B1113J washing machine?

machine failed on a code E2.cleaned filter and drained water. i removed the washing and the excess water.I reloaded the machine and put the dial to spin.The
the drum with some effort made about three turns and stopped,the motor making a grinding noise.But I did note an electrical flash during the motor rotation.The laundry program controller seems to work as it counts down the minutes.Reading some of your previous answers these motors have brushes?Is this my Problem
