Mend Stihl 020AV Chainsaw Gas Start

How can I fix my 020av stihl chainsaw?

My 020av stihl chainsaw will run if gas is poured into the carburetor. Once that is burned it will not start. Filter in gas tank looks white and not clogged. Seems like saw is not getting gas from tank.

the carb filter is blocked to get to this filter you need to take carb off and remove a small filter 8mm across and clean out it looks like a small bit of cloth be very careful not to drop it.
