Mend Poulan Gas Year Thing

POULAN CHAINSAW?

HAVE SPARK NOT SURE ABOUT GAS POURED GAS IN CARB WANT START.NOT USED ENOUGH TO BE USE UP NOT EVEN A YEAR OLD.[WILD THING] FROM WAL-MART.HOW DO I GET IT IN TIME SOME IT WILL START.

After pumping the primer and setting the choke on full, pull the starter two or three times. Do Not try to hold the trigger or even touch it until it starts running. It took me many tries to find this solution but seems to work every time.
