Mend Unidare WMS724N Storage Not Working

WMS724N unidare storage heater not working?

I have 2 Unidare WMS724N storage heaters, both not working. I took off the front cover and moved the metal cover, which hides the wiring below the control knobs, to one side. Ther are black scorch marks to the wiring and connections. So it looks like something has burnt out. What is most likely to need replacing?
