Mend Unidare WMX 718N Heater Working

unidare wmx 718n?

Storage heater, Unidare WMX 718N not working since a sheet was laid over it while discharging.

Assume the thermal cut out needs resetting but there is no obvious button etc (have removed front panel). Surely I don't need a new part?!

Anyone familiar with this heater before I get professional help? Don't really want to get someone in if it is just a hidden switch/button!

Yes there is a cut out but what it looks like depends on the age of heater,if its a modern one there are 2 thermostats the right hand one is for adjustment the left one a cut out and thermostat and is preset,on the the left one you will see a cable attached on the left side,if you look about 10mm from where cable fixing screw is there will be a silver bit sticking up,push it down gently and you will hear it click
