Mend Radiant Sirrus Combi Boiler Heating Pressure

radiant sirrus?

i top my boiler up i have over filled it, it a combi boiler i tried releasing some water from bottom of rad but pressure remains the same wondering if you can help

If the filling vales turned off? can you prove there is no water passing through the valve when it is turned off? You will need to drain about 2 pints of water to make a difference to the pressure, or maybe you could have a sticking pressure gauge.. or blocked capillary tube to the pressure gauge, good luck
