how can i repair my zanussi zwf1432w washig machine ?

My Zanussi washer/dryer is not working, the electric to the machine is working but the signal from the start is not working, any ideas please

has it drained the water?.does the motor rotate when set to a wash program?.Have you got a single heavy item in it such as a cushion, bath mat,wool jumper,heavy coat.if you have no motor action on a wash cycle and when on spin cycle then it could be the motor brushes that have worn out and need replacing.
