Mend HP Ideas If Fixed

laptop not workin..Any idea's what could be wrong & if it can b fixed?

My son has a hp laptop..(Has had it for just under 5yrs. when i switch it on it keeps swiching back off after a min or so..hp logan comes on screen after it's swiched on..then displays system can not be found...Thank you.wendy.

When the computer is starting up, keep hitting F10. The built in system recovery should kick in. Complete that and it should be okay. However you may well have lost the information on it.
