Mend Peugeot 306 Broken Work Main

no heating on my peugot 306?

If my matrix is broken should my temperture gaugue work? as it never goes over 70.The main big hose is hot,the 2 leading in to the car,the top1 is hot,the other is cold.I have had it flushed,and a new thermostat,but nothing has fixed the problem.Any ideas?

If you renew the water pump, think about renewing the timing belt at the same time. The old one has to come off anyway to change the water pump on engines where the pump is driven by the timing belt. If the belt is due for replacement within the next couple of years you could save yourself a lot of money that way.

one hose hot going in and the other cold suggests water isn`t circulating through your heater matrix,it may be blocked or the heater control valve may be at fault,another thing to consider, is your water pump circulating water ok?
