The camcorder works fine. But the DC port is loose and won't hold the cord for the compact power adapter. It won't let me backup any of my video on the computer without using the power adapter. I bought a universal battery charger to charge the battery. But I am now out of room on the hard drive. I see some screws around the housing of the DC port. Can I take off the housing and try to secure it that way? Any suggestions?
