no view through viewfinder ?

If you can play back recorded video but get no live view in the viewfinder, the camera is usually in playback mode or the live-view setting is off. Switch the camera back to camera/record mode and check all cable or USB connections. If settings are correct and the viewfinder is still blank, the viewfinder or display circuit may be faulty.
