We just had that happen, and to our surprise it was the surge protector we had the Heat Surge plugged into. We thought the unit was having problems, but it was a matter of replacing the Surge Protector, an inexpensive repair. We have had our Heat Surge for 2 years, we love it, and it looks nice.
