how do i fit a new heater control valve?

i have been told that i need a new heater control valve as my blowers are not getting warm at all.
is it something i could do myself?
need it done really soon..its a ford ka 2000 1.3

can be done yourself go to a scrapyard for 1 and it will give you the knowledge to do yours as well as getting the part off yourself follow pipes to bulk head from engine you will find the valve there 1 in 1 out plus connector
