my t reg fiesta is heater is hot all the time?

i have checked the connectinons and ran it hot with the top off the bottle .it does seem to be a bit better .the temp does change all be it a bit slow it is working.many thanx

fiestas as with Ka's the water control valve (just under the windscreen on the bulkhead) is electronicaly controlled, if you have fitted a "new" valve (the coil usualy corrodes and goes open circuit) and the fuse is ok it will be more than likely be the PCB behind the control knobs at fault!

Check that fuse 13 is ok then with the engine at working temperature put the temp selector in the mid way position, then feel the valve it should be pulsating, if not check that you have 12v on pin 1 of the heater valve, then do a resistance check of the valve it should be between 10 ~ 25 ohms if it's outside this you have a dead valve!
