Mend Ford Fiesta MK4 Vehicle Cd Player

fitting ford radio cassette into any other vehicle?

a friend has upgraded from a radio cassette to a radio cd player & give his old head unit to me i have acquired the two plug-in connector blocks required from a breakers yard (ford fiesta mk4"r"reg)
where can i find the information to identify the different coloured wires to enable me to fit it into my vehicle independant of the vehicles wiring harness?

Pin 2 ground black/green
Pin 3 12v ignition supply blue/black
Pin 4 12v illumination supply orange/black (thin wire)
Pin 5 alarm connection black/orange (not required)
Pin 6 ground black/green

Pin 1 r/h front speaker white/black
Pin 2 r/h front speaker yellow/black
Pin 3 l/h rear speaker white/violet
Pin 4 l/h rear speaker yellow/violet
Pin 5 l/h front speaker white/red
Pin 6 l/h front speaker yelow/red
Pin 7 r/h rear speaker white
Pin 8 r/h rear speaker yellow

The wire colours are from the mk4 Fiesta
