Mend Dualit Power Supply Socket

my dualit toaster shorts my power supply when turned on?

Each time I go to use the toaster(Dualit) it shorts my socket power suppy

I had the same problem when operated it knocked off the RCD. Sent it back to Dualit who claimed there was no problem.
Bought toaster from John Lewis's got them to ring Dualit and it was replaced.
