Mend Pressure Relief Valve System

pressure too high?

when my heating starts the pressure gauge goes up to over 3 bar and the the pressure relief valve release a drip drip drip till the pressure goes below 3 bar. i know that is the purpose of the pressure release valve, but does anyone have any idea why the prresure is going so high
