dishlex global 300 cannot open the door?

I've bought a house with a dishlex global 300, previous owners not contactable - anyone have any idea why the door cannot be opened - is there some kiddie lock I can't see?

Dishwasher has been on the full cycle but unable to now open the door? any hints???

concerned that I may have to hand wash!!
