Mend Dishlex DX302 Dishwasher Repair Power

On/Off switch not working?

DX302 Dishlex. My on/off switch is not working. I can hold the switch in and the dishwasher will behave normally. Let go and it turns off. Press and hold again and it continues from where it last stopped. What can you suggest?

Consider calling in a specialist to replace the assembly that carries the switch - in the meantime you might attempt to force the switch to remain in the on position with a wedge of some sort - small piece of wood - lid from a cheap pen. Best not to use a metal item.
