Mend Kenmore 70 Series Runs Not Spin

How to repair a Kenmore Series 70 dryer? Motor runs but does not spin?

Our Kenmore 70 series has been shrieking when running for a few months and it recently crapped out! It "runs", (sounds like it's running), but the drum does not spin. Any ideas on the problem or how to access that part of the dryer. Thanks!

CHECK YOUR DRIVE BELT.. PROBABLY SLIPED OUT.... AS FOR THE NOISE...SPIN THE DRUM MANUALLY WITHOUT THE DRIVE BELT ATTACHED.. IF YOU HEAR A GRINDY AR WHINING NOISE, REPLACE THE BEARINGS..

CAUTION UNPLUG THE MACHINE FROM THE POWER MAINS BEFORE REMOVING THE COVER...

ELECTRICITY KILLS.....
