fix my henry vacuum?

is it the one with the cord rewind?you turn the handle to rewind the cable into the machine?if it is,there are two copper prongs inside the cover that runs on a slip ring,these break off so the vac wont start,but check the cable fisrt,coz it can break three inches from the plug top,cut the cable back and refit the plug top,you would really need a test meter to checvk it properly,am only giving you the best advice i can,in these circumstances
