Mend Kenmore 116 Vacuum Motor Fuse

Need to know where I can get a part for Kenmore vacuum cleaner?

To Whom it may Concern;


The vacuum will not turn on. I checked the motor and fuse there ok. but the overload circuit breaker is bad. This is a Kenmore Model#116 The Circuit breaker # is Mfg Hosiden BC501 AC125 volts 3.15 amp. Can you tell me where I can order this part, or if there is a place in the NYC, Central NJ area where I can aquire this part. Thank You Respectfully Lmussic77

I found a couple of Hosiden BC501's in my junk bin. Hope you managed to source some by now. I live in Tasmania, a logn way to pick them up!

Same thing, just talked to SEARS... they want like $12 on a $00.50 part...But it IS available there ...... It is a STANDARD part and I will track one down... Hopefully without having to buy a 100....

This is part answer/part question. I also have a Kenmore 3.9 with PowerMate and I am looking for a replacement hose (has the electrical components). It has 120 AC, 7.5 amps with powermate and 60Hz. I have duct tape holding it together for now, but I know it will not last due to the heat, etc. Anyway, if I can locate the parts that you and/or I need I will let you know. If you locate, will you let me know please?
