Henry motor?

First should say yes not pluggend in.
Cleaner stopped suddenly found what the fault was one brush lead came off loose now tight Henry works again.
Motor brush check
iclipped black lead to one brass brush housing the red lead to the other brass brush housing and got a reading with Multimeter set at ohms is this indicating brushes are touching the comutator ? can't see how the brush holders come out so could not check visually.
