How can I fix my Scantronic 9448 with 9427 panel?

remove mains power,open panel remove red lead from battery,on the pc board there are two pins,put a wire between these,put lead back on the battery,then put remove the link,close the panel,put mais back on,you have now restore the panel back to factory settings,i.e.if you want to put your code in,key in 0 .enter 7890.
then your code,then press 99 enter,
