wiper problem 04 vauxhall vectra please help?

ok thanks the ball had come detatched i have connected it together with a cable tie until i can source a part for the problem thanks for your reply.

check the wiper arm nut is not loose,if it is tight either the wiper linkage has dropped off the arm or the wiper spindle is seized,both scenarios mean the wiper linkage assy will probably have to come off and replace worn/seized parts,maybe a trip to a scrappy will solve your problem
