I have just bought a peugeot 406 Diesel Estate executive for pittance and it has a few issues, if anyone can help, please do?
It has digital auto climate control, everything works on it apart from the fan speed adjustment I get nothing, no fans at all? Also I have no screenwash, I pull the stalk and there is wiper action but no noise from the washers. I have checked all fuses and they are ok, the only thing I have found is a plug dangling doing nothing near the offside fog light in the engine bay?

The air fan will have a burnt out speed resistor
The screen wash bottle is under the front wing, offside, and to get at it you need to remove the wheel and wheel arch liner. If your luck is in, the plug has just dropped out.....but I doubt it!
