beko sensor drying wont start?

i did read somewhere that the senser just inside the door sometimes slips the connection wires and needs put back on....only takes 5 mins and removal of 2 screws to check...
We also have the same machine,,,,its into its second heating element and now runs for 5-6 secs and stops,then runs again for 5-6 secs,then stops ,,,,on and on taking forever to dry anything..... its like any machine,,,fantastic when working and the biggest dose of crap when not!!!!

Hey Fiona,
We have exactly the same model of tumble dryer and it's doing exactly the same thing, would be really grateful if you could post whatever info you discover on here as we are too at a loose end.

press and hold the start button in for 5 seconds and see if it resets it
