Mend Jaguar 28 Heating Fault

jaguar 28 will not run ?

My Jaguar 28 has no fault displayed but has a problem running both CH & DHW the system lights for about 15 - 20 sec then flame dies from the bottom up has anybody got any suggestion how to solve

Thanks Ian I have removed flue and refitted with new seals flames are no longer lifting and seems to be working apart from DHW that comes on even if the taps are off and dosen't switch off and over heats

has hot water but need to control by switching on and off

if the flames are lifting you may have a problem with gas pressure, fan or flue. get a qualified engineer in to check it out.

thanks for your responce i thought it might be the air pressure switch or the overheat thermostat which might mean the pump is in need of replacing but from my original discription you think it might be gas valve that needs replacing

sounds like gas pressure problems do flames lift of burner
you need a gas safe man/lady to check it out
