Mend Optima G4 Compact Alarm

Optima compact G4 alarm?

When I lose the mains power supply the outside bell sounds, if I print in the user code the bell continues to sound, the alarm system & back up batteries are 9 months old & fully charged, I would like to be able to turn the outside bell off when the mains power is off can anybody advise? Many thanks.

This can only happen if the back up battery is not charged as its job is to keep the system running until power is restored. Either the battery is faulty or the panel is not charging it up. Disconnect the leads from the battery if you are getting 12v then its a faulty battery if you are not getting voltage from those leads then the panel is faulty.
