why do I get the trojan virus whenever I visit a free website? I have several free webpages on page builder yahoo, tripod, netscape, aol and I get errors on the page and the trojan horse virus. Why?? is it built into their system? I have window xp home edition. Also I cannot download IE version 7 because I can not validate my system. Am I being Hijacked?
The easiest way to avoid having to worry about problems with Internet Explorer is not to use it.
I would definitely recommend Firefox. Firefox is a browser similar to Internet Explorer, in lots of people's view is less prone to problems caused by either Trojans/Viruses etc or from problems caused by configuration.
You can download Firefox from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
It is easy to install (and uninstall if you don't like it.)
