how can I fix my Delonghi 40 pint ariadry dehumidifier?

My 40 pint Delonghi dehumidifier starts then gets very HOT the fan does not kick on. I believe it proably is either a relay or fan problem. It is a Delonghi 40 pint ariadry dehumidofier
