i had my scooter started for a while to let it tick over and warm up, I stopped the scooter and tried to kickstart it again but for sum reasone it was kicking down but it wasnt catching onto any thing it was justgoing down making a weird noise then springing back up, any ideas how to fix this ????
the kickstart drive cogs need replacing buy them cheap of ebay simple to change yourself

ok cheers m8, and my battery has been flat s ive been using my kickstart so iff i get the battery and usee the eletric start it should still work and start as normall ond will not jam up or anything??

sounds like the small starter intermediate gear has stripped,you need to take the transmission cover off and have a look ,leave the kickstart in place for now though you dont want to take it off yet .other than that the toothed late that locks in the the drive gear has either come loose or been damaged you will soon see the problem.ps no oil will come out when you take the cover off.
