Mend Steamworks G1030ST Changed Problem Flashing

steamworks g1030st steam iron?

I have just changed the filter on my STEAMWORKS G1030ST Steam Iron. The problem is the light is still flashing indicating that the filter needs changing. What do I need to do to stop the light from flashing, or should it stop automatically after the new filter has been inserted. Please help as I find worrying.

Tried every Kenwood site to get an answer, and in 2 secs your answer of pressing the 2 buttons together solved the problem, thanks

Sorry, no answer. Same problem and got fobbed off by Argos customer care people. They sold what looks to be the same item under banner of Argos value range. I was told yesterday that they have discontinued selling the G2030ST and don't have any replacement filters. They tried to find the manufacturers information but told me they couldn't find anything. Draw your own conclusions. May be this fault we both have is one of the reasons Argos have discontinued it.

Press BOTH the Power on and Steam on buttons at the same time then just the Power on button and done.
