Steamworks iron G-1030ST?

How can i stop steam coming out of the bottom of the Steamworks G-1030ST iron base. The steam will not come through the pipe and i have changed the filter

Our iron did the same it was full of scale thus blocking the the feed to the iron,, the steam coming out through the bottom is exiting from the saftey valve ,,,,tried descaling the iron but ended up buying a new from argos in the end , i took a three year warranty out this time ......
