Mend Hoover Optima Washing Machine

Hoover Optima washing machine ?

We have a similar problem with our Hoover washing machine. It too is only 18 months old & Hoover want around £110 call out which seems ridiculous when the machine is so new. It shows code E03 and keeps stopping, plus code E16 at times. We have now replaced the pump & checked all the outlets aren't blocked but it's still erratic, occasionally completing a full cycle but mainly stopping mid wash. Can anyone help please?

We have asked a local washing machine engineer and he says it is the programer and it probably needs resetting but will no doubt have to be carried out by a Hoover engineer. I have tried contacting Hoover to ask what they are doing about this obviously common fault but the link doesn't work!!!!
