Mend Renault Laguna Battery Electrical

1999 Laguna battery/alternator trouble?

My battery in my 1999 1.8 Renault Laguna keeps failing. Once jump started all electrics work fine but as soon as I stop, if I try to start the car again I get a flick on the dash but not enough power to start the engine. Is this the alternator failing. I have changed the battery by the way ; )

check your charging with a voltmeter, should be about 14 volts
