Mend Renault Megane Lights Battery

warning lights?

A battery and stop light coming on with my renault megane( 2003) car. There is also a beeping noise with the stop warning? The cars seems be starting ok and also running ok..have i anything to worry about as i suspect its just an electrical malfunction?
