Mend Kenmore 20942994 Washer Spin Belt

washer wont spin?

i have a kenmore elite type 111 m#20942994 ser#clo17582 not sure if theres a belt or not want to remove back cover but dont want too make worse almost like plastic rivets whats the best way to remove the back cover is there a method of removing this pannel without making a mess?

Hello,

The whole cabinet is removed as one piece. First remove the plastic endcaps on the console. Then remove the screws and flip the console back. After that, remove the 2 metal clips and be sure the unplug the lid switch connector. Standing in front of the washer grab the cabinet and rock it forward and off the tabs underneath.
