dryer function not working? HOOVER HWP12?

as said, dryer doesn't seem to be working. washer is still fine. but when you select dry it starts the cycle and after a few secs starts to make a louder buzzing vibrating noise, also i don't think its heating up? any ideas? or just bin the machine?
