Mend Fisher & Paykel 918td Dishwasher Error Code Drain

Error code u1 on 918td Fisher & Paykel dishwasher?

The dishwasher stopped before the end of the cycle. The water had not drained away. Error code U1 was on the display. Turned machine off. Tried to turn back on, but when you hit any button it just beeps and there is no display.

this may sound simple but make sure the tap is turned on that feeds the dishwasher with water

My f&p dishwasher was showing the same error code...I found a strange answer... The control module was stuffed. One of the transistors on the PCB was actually in 2 pieces...New control box was over $200 Aust so decided to buy new dishwasher instead.

I found this answer on another site. It sounds like a standard error.

Q: U1 ERROR. The unit is showing a U3 error code.
A: U1 means the unit has failed to prime with water within 3 minutes. Its taking longer than expected to fill with water. Check the fill valve, water supply problem, spray arm not in place, excessive foaming (using hand-dishwashing soap?)
