LG, WW2277HW, front loader washer does not drain at "spin cycle"?

Hello: I have an LG LG, WW2277HW front loader washing machine and recently it has stopped draining when the washing cycle gets to the "spin" phase?
I have tried to manually force the spin function sometimes with success and sometimes without. I
have checked the filter and didn't see anything but I haven't tried to remove the housing to check the hoses for obstruction. It does drain during the "rinse" function, but does it have a separate pump for this purpose? We are in desperate need of the washer and don't have a great deal of money. I have run several wash cycles and it has failed each time at the same place.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
