My machine is not completing the cycle. I think my husband has checked the pump properly but no success. Any other suggestions? It is a front loader 8 kg. I have tried putting it on the spin cycle after draining the water by releasing plug but it does not start the spin.
Thank you for posting the answer. We have a service man coming tomorrow. We were hoping to avoid the expense but not to be. :-(

The machine should drain the water automatically at end of wash cycle & end of rinse cycle. It will not move on until water drains. If you have to drain water by removing a plug then the drain pump is not doing it's job. It is either still blocked or pump is faulty.
