J845 front loader pump faulty or not ?

Samsung J845 front loader will not drain water. I have cleaned the filter, pulled the hoses off and cleaned them even though they had no debris. The little propeller on the pump can spin, and I removed the pump to look at it but it looks really clean and free of debris. When I run the "Drain" program on an empty machine then the pump spins the propeller nicely (I witnessed it by doing this with the filter removed), but if I run the same drain program or any other program with water in the machine, the pump just rattles and does not drain the water.
