Mend Bosch Logixx Dryer Wrong Drying

Bosch Logixx washer dryer - wrong bit getting hot!?

My Bosch washer dryer isn't drying. The drum stays cold but the top of the machine is getting really hot. I've cleaned the filter accessible from the bottom front panel - nothing in it. Drum is rotating. Is it dangerous to run the washer part and how can I fix the drier? Thanks.
